Who Are We Looking For?

Our new System Engineer will have experience in the following areas:

• Maintaining our Private Cloud, both physical and software-based.
• Contributing ideas to improve and optimize infrastructure performance.
• Writing and maintaining Ansible Playbooks and Roles.
• Deploying and configuring new VMs based on Debian or Ubuntu.
• Configuring Routers and Firewalls.
• Managing and improving our Kubernetes environment.
• Documenting infrastructure, technologies, and applications.
• Researching and implementing new technologies while phasing out legacy ones.
• Participating in on-call duties.
• Assisting with DevOps tasks and process automation.

• Deep understanding of Linux, especially Debian.

Experience:

• Relevant experience in a hosting-related IT environment.
• Proven experience with Linux and open-source technologies.
• Good command of English, both spoken and written.

Tech Stack:

• Debian GNU/Linux and Ubuntu
• Ansible
• KVM
• Kubernetes
• Python, Bash, or Perl (or Go)
• Basic network knowledge
