The Job

As a Support Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support and troubleshooting to our clients. Your role is a crucial part in addressing and solving technical issues ensuring that our customers receive a prompt and effective solution.

Some of the tasks will be to:

• Provide support via Jira, email and phone to Vitec Memorix customers
• Monitor and manage issues, including backlog issues using Jira
• Coordinate and manage customer expectation by timely communication
• Collaborate with internal teams
• Test the changes to ensure deployment and functionality before reporting back to customers
• Receive and respond to inbound or outbound incident requests
• Performing root cause analysis
• Automate manual tasks
• Writing manuals and other support material

We Are Looking for Someone Who Has:

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Support Engineer
• An excellent communicator and collaborator
• Experience with applicable software and willingness to develop product knowledge
• Willingness to pick up technical tasks
• Experience with JavaScript, PHP, Joomla and being familiar with debugging tools like inspector, networking and console
• Fluent in Dutch and English, both written and oral
• Understanding of the cultural and commercial heritage sector is a plus
• Familiarity with archival or content management systems is a plus
