The Job

Vitec Memorix, a leading provider of innovative archival software solutions, is seeking an experienced Migration and Implementation Consultant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for guiding our clients through the migration process from our collection management software Maior to our cutting-edge Nexus platform, as well as implementing Nexus for new clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead migration projects for existing clients transitioning from Maior to Nexus.
• Implement Nexus software for new clients in the cultural and commercial heritage sector.
• Conduct needs assessments and develop tailored migration and implementation strategies.
• Manage data migration processes, ensuring data integrity and minimal disruption.
• Configure Nexus software to meet client-specific requirements.
• Provide training and support to clients throughout the migration and implementation process.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve technical issues and improve processes.
• Document best practices and contribute to the development of migration and implementation methodologies.
• Act as a trusted advisor to clients, offering insights on optimizing their use of Nexus.

Qualifications

1. Minimum 5 years of experience as a consultant in software implementation or migration.
2. Strong technical affinity and experience with enterprise software systems.
3. Excellent understanding of data migration processes and tools.
4. Familiarity with archival or content management systems is a plus.
5. Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
7. Problem-solving mindset with a focus on delivering client satisfaction.
8. Willingness to travel as needed for on-site client engagements.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Agile methodologies.
• Knowledge of SQL and database management.
• Experience with linked data and semantic modeling (SHACL, RDF, SPARQL).
• Proficient in data management and data modeling.
• Familiarity with API integrations and web technologies.
• Understanding of the cultural and commercial heritage sector.
